At least 180 cats have been found living in a Moriches home on Crystal Beach Road.
A rescue group called Rescue Ink will remove up to 50 cats from the home after the family acknowledged that they cannot handle them.
The group’s members, known as the “tough guys with a soft side for animals,” say they will stop at nothing to rescue animals that are in unlivable conditions.
The cats removed from the home will be checked out and put up for adoption.
