Buckwheat Arraigned

"How my hair look?"

Omar Tomlinson, 27, of 9 Terapin St. pleaded "not guilty" to attempted murder and seven other charges at his arraignment last week.

Tomlinson was arrested on December 17th for allegedly shooting a 14 year old boy outside William Floyd HS after a basketball game against Floyd and Riverhead on December 12th. The boy (who's name is being withheld) was not the target of Tomlinson but when you have crappy aim and learned how to use a gun playing PS2, almost anyone becomes a target.

Suffolk DA Thomas Spota said Mr. Trigger Happy is being charged with 4 class B violent felonies punishable by a term of up to 25 years: two counts of 1st degree criminal use of a firearm, 1st degree assault, and attempted 2nd degree murder.

The DA is also charging him with 3 drug possession charges and 2nd degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class C felony.

According to detectives and the US Marshals Services Tomlinson was in possession of heroin and cocaine at the time of his arrest. Because that's just how he rolls.

Judge Gary Weber set cash bail at $300,000, with a bond alternative of $600,000.
