Maybe It Was A Protest Because Ding How Doesn't Deliver

Suffolk County Police have arrested two teens who attempted to rob employees at a Shirley Chinese food restaurant on June 10th.

Four Ding How Kitchen employees were outside cleaning when they were approached by two teens, one who displayed a handgun and another who displayed a folding knife, shortly after 10 p.m. Two employees ran into the restaurant when the teen with the knife followed the employees and demanded cash from the register (why the employees didn't take them out with the five point palm-exploding heart technique has not been determined).

The employees were able to call 911 and the two teens fled the restaurant. Seventh Precinct officers arrived and canvassed the area, assisted by a Canine unit. The officers located the suspects hiding under a storage container in a wooded area at Ostend Circle and Northern Boulevard in Shirley (because, you know, if you're going to run ... don't run far).

Seventh Squad detectives charged Timothy Clark, 16, of 106 Laurelton Drive, Shirley, and Lameek Everette, 16, of 373 Smith Road, Shirley, with Attempted Robbery 1st Degree. Clark and Everette were arraigned on June 11th at First District Court in Central Islip.
