Eye See You

Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad Detectives have arrested an East Patchogue man, after he was believed to have installed video and audio equipment in a tenant’s apartment.

The investigation by Fifth Squad Detectives revealed that Louis Bosco, 44, of 635 South Country Road, East Patchogue, allegedly installed the surveillance equipment in the bedroom and bathroom of a tenant. The equipment was later discovered by the resident, who notified Suffolk Police.

Bosco, who is a self-employed handyman, was charged with Unlawful Surveillance 2nd Degree. He was held overnight at the Fifth Precinct for arraignment at First District Court, Central Islip, on June 18, 2009.

The investigation is continuing.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Hayducka's 16-year-old daughter was the first to discover Bosco's secret operation when she found video and audio equipment that had allegedly been installed in the house to spy on her.
