I mentioned in another post that the Smith Point Village Exploratory Committee is having a Spring Fair on May 23rd to raise funds for the incorporated village they're working to get. I also mentioned in past posts that the newly formed SPVEC is being harassed by the SPBPOA who are -- well, "is" because the association really consists of one person -- none too happy with the progress of the new committee and their efforts to raise funds.
The Dark Overlord of the SPBPOA, and Kate Brownings BFF, Delia McKernan called up the AMF Corporate Offices to basically level a bunch of lies and non sequiturs about politics to dissuade the Shirley AMF Bowling Alley from allowing the event to happen in their parking lot. And she succeeded.

To again avoid hearing the voice that resembles the sound of a thousand crows in ecstasy, the Shirley AMF Bowling Alley has decided that they will not allow any group to use their parking lot for any fundraising purposes. This includes groups such as the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, WFHS sports teams, et alii. That's right, Kate Brownings BFF has made it even more difficult for small groups to raise funds for needed items such as uniforms and sporting equipment.
The Girl Scouts, Delia? OK, maybe the Boy Scouts deserve it -- they tend to act douchey -- but the Girl Scouts of America? You don't mess with the Girl Scouts! They can take you out "sniper style" by shooting a marshmallow through a straw from 300 yards. I think that's one of the medals they work to get; if I'm not mistaken.
And how is the WFHS cheerleading squad or the girls lacrosse team going to raise funds by having old men pretend their cars need a wash?
Delia McKernan, aka Kate Brownings BFF, is single-handily destroying anything the Shirley community is trying to do to improve the quality of life for its residents. Will Legislator Browning have a Sister Souljah moment? She has an election coming up. How is she going to win the support of the community with the albatross that is Delia McKernan destroying everything in her path because she's not getting her way?
I know many people think that throwing someone under the bus is not something one does, but when that bus is your political career and it's slowly heading off a cliff you need a speed-bump to slow it down; no offense to speed-bumps by the comparison. Kate Brownings BFF does not care about the community -- certainly doesn't care about the children -- does Legislator Browning share the same mentality as Mrs. McKernan?

But fear not, my fellow Spring Fair enthusiasts, the RE group that owns the PathMark Shopping Center is well aware with the kamikaze tactics of Kate Brownings BFF and is allowing the SPVEC to hold the Spring Fair at the northwest section of the parking lot -- where that little Capital One kiosk is located -- and it's going to be a fun day for all the families. There are some tables still available so if you're interested please download the application and contact the group. The application also has a list of things that are not allowed to be sold; sorry you hentai "traders".
No doubt that Kate Brownings BFF will not be happy with this turn of events, but maybe her husband will take one for Team Humanity show her some McLovin and take her far, far, far away from the area.
And maybe not come back.

Better hope someone runs against Kate if you feel that way
Delia's maniacal rantings and ravings are proof that she has clearly gone off the deep end. Unfortunately because of her close relationship with Kate Browning, she is allowed to run amok in this community, leaving a path of destruction wherever she goes. I feel sorry for the SPVEC and certainly wish them the best of luck, they're going to need it!
Delia spent the weekned calling several community leaders and told them that she had nothing to do with the bowling alley denying the use of the parking lot. She said it was all the fault of someone from the SPVEC calling corporate and making a big deal and so that is why it was canceled. I think Delia is running scared and is trying everything and anything to try to save her little "kingdom".
That doesn't make any sense. Why would a group that had already secured use of the parking lot for a fundraiser call corporate to complain? Complain about what? They would only need to call corporate if someone else had called and the group needed to defend itself. But that leaves the question as to why the SPBPOA would feel the need to call corporate. Sabotage.
How about , why would she call civic leaders over the weekend trying to say it wasnt her, when this didnt come out till today?? Sounds like someone was trying to cover her bases before she even got up to bat. More lies from the McKernan camp.Just like last week when her hubby perjured himself under oath about their attack in Pathmark. Gotta love security cameras and DVD's....LMAO
We just spoke with Majestic Properties, the management company for the Pathmark Shopping Center and they received a call form Delia this morning trying to stop the fair.

No shame. I hope the people at Majestic have backbones.
Kate needs to get rid of that nut job and stop protecting her. If she wants the support of this community, she could start by telling Delia to shut the f*** up and stop harassing people with her nonsensical emails, flyers and post cards. If she could make Delia go away, she'd get my vote.

It's sad to see how low and the amount of damage that woman and Kate Browning are willing to inflict on this community. To any on the fence, now is the time to use your head - no more WFHS car washes, Girl Scouts, or any other type of fund raising due to the SPBPOA at the bowliong alley. And she doesn't even live in the area, yet continues her destructive path, all to the detriment of the residents of this community.
I heard from a friend of mine that went to Delia's village meeting on Monday that at the end of the meeting she stopped people as they were leaving and gave them the phone numbers to call and say they didn't want a fair. She had the numbers memorized and was just rattling them off to people. They mentioned the SPVEC no less than 3 times and said that an SPVEC member had threatened the owner of the UPS store back in January to not mail out the village meeting postcards. I happen to know the UPS store manager and she denied that ever happened. Didn't Delia initially blame the Post Office for this? That's the problem with liars, they can't remember the lies they've told.
She has been bombarding the property company with phone calls and threatening to do a protest - I guess with all 5 of her supporters. It's obvious the community wants this fair, we have had a tremendous amount of donations pouring in. We got a brand new barbeque grill, patio set, pool openings, tire rotations, oil changes, etc. The only one who doesn't want the fair is Delia and her very small group of supporters
Thanks to everyone for their support! Pathmark and the Property Manager have decided to stand by their decision to allow us the use of the parking lot for the fair. :D
