Hey You Kids, Drink My Liquor!

Suffolk County Police arrested an Eastport man today for offering alcohol and cigarettes to minors and threatening them with physical harm.

On April 19, 2009, Kenneth Capazzolo, 54, offered alcohol and cigarettes to a 12-year-old, two 14-year-olds, a 15-year-old, and a 16-year-old. Capazzolo chased the 15-year-old around with his car frightening him.

Capazzolo threatened to hit a 13-year-old with a wooden stick on April 24, 2009. A short time later, Capazzolo, while drinking vodka, drove his car erratically, with a 12, 13, and 16-year-old as passengers in the vehicle, frightening them.

Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers charged Capazzolo, of 491 Montauk Highway , Eastport, with Menacing 2 nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment 2 nd Degree, and eight counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Capazzolo was held overnight at the Seventh Precinct pending arraignment at First District Court, Central Islip , this morning.
