My Breath Is Weedy Fresh

According to a new report (PDF) sponsored by the Marijuana Policy Project, field tests commonly used by police to identify marijuana and other drugs yield false positives in response to a variety of legal substances, resulting in the arrest and detention of innocent people. So what yields a false positive?

Well ...

  • variety of natural soaps
  • soy milk
  • patchouli
  • spearmint
  • eucalyptus
  • vanilla
  • peppermint
  • anise
  • chicory
In all fairness anyone using patchouli should be arrested for something.

PS. I've decided to make Sunday a "random" day. There's only so much you can post about the tri-hamlet area so I decided to take one day to branch out and spice it up a bit with posts about different things that have nothing to do with the area. And it'll hopefully bring out those people that visit but don't comment.
